Battle Royale! What would you do?
[spoiler]Battle Royale is finally on Netflix so I'm quite happeh faec right now.[/spoiler]
Now, if you already know the premise of Battle Royale or have watched the film - Skip the next paragraph while I explain it to those who live under rocks.
For those of you who live under rocks, Battle Royale is a Japanese film about school kids being dumped on an Island to kill each other off as a part of the 'Millennial Education Reform Act' to deal with a riotous youth who were causing all kinds of hell in Japan. So the solution is - Corporal Punishment in the extreme. A class is randomly selected to partake each year and they have to be the last one alive at the end - or they all die. Bomb Collars are used to make sure people play by the rules. If you try to escape/fight the guards - Boom.

So, I know a fair few of the people on here have already left school (Some quite a while ago) but for the sake of the game - Either your current high school class or the last one you were in, is whisked off to the tropical island, given a rucksack with basic supplies and a random weapon and you are told to run off and fight to survive.
For the purpose of the game, you can choose your weapon but it cannot be firearms/explosives (Unless you want a brace of frag grenades - only exception)
Do you try to take as many with you as you can, knowing that death is all but inevitable? Do you resign yourself to fate and abstain from violence? Do you run and try to survive by avoiding fights?
For the plebs and peasants, this is the original hunger games. The horrific and realistic version of rounding up a bunch of children to kill each other off, not some disney twilight -blam!-ry.

(Going with my yr12 class) Butch big guy was loud and rather strong. Thomas. Tall guy had a mean right hook. Lily. She is a black belt in karate. Everyone else could take them no problem

3 RepliesHonestly, I'm probably the only one in my class that could kill another human being and even then I'm not sure. I would use a crossbow, but I'd definitely try to beat the game or escape/kill the people in charge.

1 ReplyI get a hatchet. With that simple tool I can make many other tools, kill people, and start a fire. I will lure people into an area of dry brush and set it ablaze, burning them. I would kill them all, no mercy and no remorse. It would be so much fun.
