Game over Chief. Even if Chief was shielded from prof X's power he still would have every ally turn against him. The captain of the ship he is on just activated the self destruct, the plane is is on just crashed on purpose, the buddies beside him just turned to shoot him in the back. Even if he some how manages to get to prof X he can just jump into a different body and Chief wouldn't even know who he was fighting anymore.
