Calling former Halo enthusiast who are on the PS4.
I would like to build a database of players who are not new to Bungie games and are now gaming on the PlayStation 4 such as myself. I would very much like to avoid playing with former PS3 Supporters [that may or may not have been hating on halo in the past ;D] that know little about Bungies gameplay mechanics when i will be playing Destiny. The main purpose of this thread is to find like-minded people in the PSN community, and to make the social aspect of Destiny much less painful for former halo enthusiasts. This is a thread mainly regarding Destiny, but it is equally accepted to find like-minded people for games that are currently available.(BF4,Warframe, ect.) Advertising your group/future clan is also accepted. Hopefully this thread will make it easier for people who have made the switch to PSN without having any kind of acquaintances on it.[me -_-]
Basically put, this is to find people you want to play with. This is [b]NOT[/b] a thread about platform hate, so please restrain from talking s#it.
I mainly started this thread because i miss playing with skilled Halo fans, and i feel our heritage as Bungie supporters should not be forgotten.

Technically I'm not a child, but it seems that on the Internet, if you're under 18 you get flamed for everything :( anyway, been a Bungie supporter for a long time, but when I saw the total BS of the Xbox One, i decided to wait for either a no-Kinect version or a Halo Collector's Edition console, and buy a PS4 instead. NOTE: I am a total "Lore Junkie". I have read almost every Halo book, watched/read every terminal, and really don't like CoD because the basic premise of the storyline EVERY SINGLE TIME is: "Shoot the Russians! America FTW! Screw all those other people who helped us win! America is da best!" When Destiny/Destiny Beta comes out, I will be plunging straight into the Story to learn as much as I can before Bungie shuts down the Beta servers. Also, this might make people mad, but I loved Halo 4. Most emotionally gripping and best-paced campaign I have ever played, and I also liked the integration of book lore (Forerunner Saga by Greg Bear) into the actual game. I miss Firefight, but the inclusion of Spartan Ops kept me coming back every single week. I cannot speak for the multiplayer though, I never play that. RANDOM HALO TRIVIA QUESTION FOR FELLOW LORE JUNKIES: After he was defeated by Offensive Bias, Mendicant Bias was broken into three parts and stored in three remote places in the galaxy, so his huge knowledge of the Flood could assist later species, if the Flood were to return. We know the location of two pieces, where are they and where would you guess is the third? ANSWER: [spoiler]One piece is on the Lesser Ark, another is on the Forerunner Dreadnought known as High Charity (which crashlanded on the Lesser Ark), and the third... we dont know. however, that makes two Mendicant Bias pieces in very close proximity. is that enough to awake Mendicant Bias? Man, I loved halo so much on the Xbox and 360. Hell it made me buy and Xbox twice. Once for Halo 3 (it broke) and another for Reach! (That broke too) wasn't able to get Halo 4 though :(

2 RepliesI am Halo vet. Transferred to ps4 specifically for Destiny. Not many friends, however have added quite a few people from bungie . net. I would be interested in acquiring new friends as well, to always be able to join up with =) Anyone reading this post who is in the same boat, add me PathorixP11 is my PSN account. I'm not on much now, but when Destiny comes around, I would love more people to play with, I won't ever play anything else much when Destiny comes out. Got my beta ready to go as well. Day one. All day. Everyday. Real talk. Thug life. But seriously, add me. If you don't see me, that doesn't count. When Destiny comes out, you'll see me. I won't just be occupying a friends slot for nothing. I'll be a Guardian you can always count on. I kicked Halo ass in my hay day. Almost went to mlg, but had a lot of factors intervening. Like life and jobs and such. I'm not pro, but I don't want to put off this video or anything but what I mean is I understand it, and the mechanics, and the game play, that I will make a good team member. I've owned an xbox since the first halo. Played Halo 2 competitively. Also played 3, ODST, Reach, and 4. Switched to ps4 for better exclusives and bungie's partnership with sony. Psn: TSC_Blader . Old Halo 2 clan

I only played halo back when i had the first xbox. Played halo 1 trying to beat every level on legendary. Played halo 2 mostly multiplayer and it was honestly the most fun ive had. Playing clans, big team battle, team slayer, classic swat( i hope people remember) to custom games such as hide and seek, zombies and troy... Man those were the days.. Skipped xbox 360 and now i have a PS4 waiting for destiny :)

I will be getting Destiny on the PS4 but only because of the exclusive content, and because I have allot of colleagues at work who will be on the same platform. I am an Xbox guy though, always have been. I'm a pretty casual player from the Uk, I have to fit playtime around full time job/girlfriend hours. But that's only a recent thing, I take gaming very seriously and still do when I have the time. I'm into all aspects of science fiction and love binge watching TV shows on netflix. With Destiny, no matter how hard I try to be anything else I will be a run and gun, shoulder smashing, shotgun wielding Titan. I prefer cooperative play, mainly because I don't have the time to get good at PVP and I love getting immersed in a world with friends, but I love (and am awesome at) Battlefield which I also play on PS4. I was pretty good at Halo so I'm hoping that the same skills will be relevant with Destiny. I'm new to Playstation, outside of the handful of PSNs I have from work. I really don't have any friends. Tragic isn't it. So if you think you'd like to team up then please add me, I'm looking for a sweet fireteam to take on Raids with. PSN: gutterxshark
