The Panzers moved fast and quickly cut off British forces from French forces at the port of Dunkirk where a desperate retreat was underway. It took only 1 month and 12 days for France to officially surrender to the Germans, they signed there surrender where the Versailles treaty was created in the ultimate act of humiliation.
