Today, Microsoft announced that in June you will be able to purchase the Xbox One without the Kinect for $400. My question stands, does this actually make you want to go out and buy one?
-
The drop to £359 is cool. I was getting it anyway, but it'll be a lot speedier now.
-
It could be cheaper but I'm willing to compromise for H2A.
-
Ever since the halo 5 announcement, it kinda does
-
What if I already own one?
-
Already have it.
-
Hell no. I don't want an xbone
-
Yeah.... But still too expensive for me.

Edited by TheHouse: 5/16/2014 3:10:47 AMI already have one but I still voted "Yay" because if I didn't have one the $399 price tag looks way more appealing. Though, I do love my Kinect. Take the cheaper SKU, no more apps behind paywall, and games with gold... combine it with some awesome announcements at E3 (Halo/Battlefront/GoW?/etc.) and people will come flocking to Xbox One this holiday. I think a Halo announcement will be key in that. With all the great games coming out later this year I guess I'll have to sell my PS4 to afford them. (Seriously, I got a PS4 in March and it's been a dust collector. Buyer's remorse, not to say I don't like the PS4, because I do, its just Xbox One is my primary console where my friends are, I don't foresee any of the PS4 exclusives being worth holding on to it).
-
Well I'm broke so...
-
With this latest news about the Kinect less XBONE dropping the price to 400 dollars I think I will be picking one up at some point. I already have a PS4 and would like to play some of the console exclusive games.
-
Already have one. Might sell the Kinect, I have no need for it.
-
$400 for the Xbox One or $400 for the Playstation 4? I'm going to go with the console that provides better graphical performance + exclusive downloadable content for Destiny (timed exclusive or not). Sony's Playstation 4 gives me this.
-
No, it just makes me realize even more how overpriced that underpowered DRM machine is.
-
Edited by Gingers Unite: 5/15/2014 11:50:52 PMYeah I think I'll stick with PC.
-
I knew it. From the day it was anounced I knew it would drop down $100 or so
-
Well, it's more enticing than it was at $499. Still I don't see a point in owning an Xbox One. I have a PS4 which means every third party game is accessible to me. Those third party games run better on the PS4 anyways. I don't need Halo FPS #7 and Gears of War #5. I don't need the annual Forza release. I'm interested in Sunset Overdrive but not $400 interested.
-
I'm definitely considering buying one in a year or 2, but I just build a PC so I really can't justify spending that kind of money right now.
-
Yep. Now all it needs is a Halo game that doesn't suck.
-
I might have bought one if they hadn't waited this long I've already moved on to PS4.
-
A little bit.
-
Tbh, yes. I was doubting that I would get it this year, but since the price dropped $100 less kind of gives me hopes of getting it.
-
I'll pick one up once Destiny has been released. Until that time frame arrives, I'll work towards building a PC.
-
I would still be paying more for less.
-
Maybe when I inevitably get another one eventually.

Edited by ABeardedViking: 5/14/2014 4:49:31 PMI was planning to get one by the end of the year. But I might pick one up sooner. I wonder if Ms willl bundle it with Titanfall

I already bought one.
