The actors of Raleigh and Mako, respectively.
I thought they were done exceedingly well. Maybe it's just Guillermo's writing, but I instantly felt connected to Raleigh.
What did you guys think of Pacific Rim's acting?

Raleigh didn't bitch about his brother, and Mako's backstory only made her stronger (except for the first drift). I thought the actors rode the line between love interests and partners extremely well. There were small hints of romance, but overall they were just a very strong pair that I enjoyed watching. Rinko did an excellent job at not being a typical pathetic, submissive Asian woman as Hollywood loves to stereotype.
