What are the best games on the Wii-Hue?
I'm considering buying it. I want to know what games I should buy for it.
Also, does it run on HDMI?

Yes, I believe you HAVE to have an HDMI, as an owner, I suggest a few games: Mario kart8(on Friday May 30) Nintendo land(the best multiplayer game wii u has right now), if you like strategy and army units, pikmin 3. Arkham games(both are good) and...lego marvel if you feel like it. (The split teen on lego marvel puts player 1 on gamepad and 2 on the tv, so you don't have to worry about sharing tv space.)

I am also getting Batman Arkham City Armored Edition and Mass Effect 3 Special Edition. I've played them already but they were cheap so I want to see what the Wii U has to bring to these games. What games on the Virtual Console are worth getting that isn't the big nintendo games. I only have Super Mario Kart and Wonder Boy 3 on my Wii. I know I can only upgrade Mario Kart. Yes it does run on HDMI, i'm going to have to switch my 360 to component to have my Wii U in HD

Good, but not great (imo): New Super Mario Bros. U, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Lego City (think Lego GTA). I hear Wonderful 101 and Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze are also really good. Tack on Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros and that's not a bad line up of games for a new console.

Then you have MK8 coming out next week and SSB set to release in the winter. And all the games the previous posters have mentioned.

I've rather enjoyed Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3 was good but a little short, Windwaker HD is as enjoyable as the original, and Super Mario 3D Land is fun to play with four player co-op.
