According to the commander of the Free Syrian Army, a good majority of the foreign fighters within ISIS in Syria are Britons.
Britons make up most of the foreign members in Syria's most violent terror group, a senior rebel leader says.
In a letter to The Times, Brig-Gen Abdulellah al-Basheer of the Free Syrian Army asks for help in curbing the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
He claims the group attacks opposition forces, not the Assad regime
UK fighters are involved in activities including beheadings, crucifixions and ill-treatment of women, he adds.
Emphasis added.
What do you make of this? There could be anywhere from 400 to 2000 Europeans fighting in Syria right now. What do you think Western governments should do to mitigate the influx of foreign fighters, which undoubtedly pose a huge security threat?
-
How much does your life have to suck to go join a group like ISIS?
-
britons? like from Brittany? because if you're refering to the british, theres no more britons left in the british isles (unless you consider the welsh, but honestly, who cares about them?)
-
Ban jihad?
-
Well someone stopped their supply of tea and hobnobs; how do you expect them to react?
-
Time for the British police to start breaking up Muslim demonstrations with bullets and grenades.
-
Isis isn't real.
-
Ban them from returning to britbong
-
I just got a breaking news popup that an American died from a suicide bomb in Syria.
-
Bloody Brits.
-
As far as terrorist threats are concerned, this is the biggest challenge for the EU. It also can be an opportunity: *starts broken record* if the West steps up support of other militias, it could help them defeat ISIS, hopefully in the process eliminating those foreign fighters who may have a desire to propagate terror in their respective home countries after fighting in Sham. As ISIS' influence has already been seen in other places around the region (اليمن), doing so would further larger counter terrorism objectives while preventing the emergence of a hardline jihadist state in Sham/Anbar.

This is so horrible I don't think I can believe that a first world country does this. /:

HOORAY FOR BRITAIN ! ... Oh wait ...
-
Surprise, surprise. Kiyo's not in here.

Just blow up Syria

Edited by Reign of Bane: 5/27/2014 11:13:01 AMThey are not real Britons, they are/ or the spawn of immigrants, migrants, emigrants and are no better than vermin. We need a cull!
-
Hopefully they all die over there, if they survive and try to come back home - they can just get thrown in jail to rot.
-
For the longest time this thread confused me like all hell because I misread/mistook ISIS for ISAF...

Muslims do not class themselves as having a Nationality, they're all representatives of the state of Islam. Also aren't these people Terrorists now? It'll be funny watching them try to get back into the UK, if they survive the conflict that is, since most of them have no military background and are arming themselves with weapons made in the 60's.
-
Yeah. Most of them are likely the Muslims that want to turn Britain into Pakistan V.2

Edited by DeclinedA01: 5/27/2014 10:45:27 PMAdditionally, the strain being put on neighboring countries due to the refugees cannot be neglected.

This guy isn't British (he's German), but I just wanted to show you guys that there are a lot of white Europeans involved in Syria not just people who have moved from the Middle East to Europe. To assume that all the European jihadists in Syria are immigrants to their respective European country is a dumb thing to do.

Two British ISIS members threatening the UK and the US.
-
Isn't ISIS the group that's so radical that even Al-Qaeda has disavowed them? I think that Syria is the biggest threat to our national security. It's a massive breeding ground for terrorists. I read somewhere that roughly 12 Americans fought in Syria and have returned back to the US.
-
I thought this had to do with Archer.
-
I found their leader.
-
*comes into thread not knowing who these people are because I'm an Amerifat* From what I can muster they're some sort of radical group living in the UK? Idk don't hurt me ;_;
