I don't believe that this has ever been asked before but does the Destiny symbol stand for anything.
It is kind of strange to me that we don't know and we have never asked.
Does anyone know?

looks like the speaker when he's dangling there ha ha
-
So I was looking at the Halo logo and I realized something. The Halo logo, which was made my Bungie is the O and the end of Halo. So maybe the Destiny logo is just as simple as the Y at the end of Destiny...

It looks to me like a dude hanging from a cross..
-
Fidget spinner for sure

I believe it is a wolf's face. The common theme of destiny is running with your pack, like a pack of wolves, like the wolves at the iron temple. Wolves appear t hold some meaning to the last city. But most that I have talked to say it's a wolf head. I should say the common theme is light but yeah more than one theme can be applied.

Apologies for coming in late here. I was reading the TWAB and can't help to notice that the symbol is again present in the Age of Triumph badge. So I asked myself, what does the symbol mean anyways? Which led me to this post. We don't have any answer to it yet, so I figure I'll give it a shot. I don't know much about symbols or symbolism but the Destiny Symbol looks like a guy is screwing another guy...int the @$$. Or it could also look like an underwear with a skid-mark on it, actually it looks more than just a skid-mark. Or it could also look like a chick's underwear, but the chick is hiding a big package. Man, that symbol could look like anything that it could be interpreted in many different ways. I hope it will be revealed to us in the end.

The destiny symbol means the wolf the three points represent three wolves in a pack and the middle one means the traveller
-
I always thought The three things sticking out represented the class (Titan, Worlock and Hunter) or it could represented the race (Awoken, Human and Exo) and the bit in the middle Represented the Travler
-
I always thought, it was a humanoid holding its arms , up and out towards the sky . Maybe as , welcoming the traveler or praising him as some sort of God .
-
it looks like the servitor boss from prison of elders

Edited by Reymis06: 10/29/2014 7:22:25 PMThe kinda egg thing in the middle is the traveler, while the other 3 edges are the guardians that must protect the traveler. I THINK..........
-
The speaker wears it.
-
Master Chiefs crotch plate.
-
My guess is the Holy Trinity. There are many references and allegories to Christianity in Destiny, including the Ghosts with each Guardian possibly representing the Holy Ghost in each human being. If you look up illustrations of the Holy Trinity, you'll find many images with layouts similar to the Destiny symbol. But this is just my opinion. :)

Deez nuts!
-
Its symbol for underwear.
-
It means that the illuminati is confirmed
-
Master Cheif's crotch
-
It looks like the ship that you find crashed in the cosmodrome on earth in one of the first missions
-
Just realized that this picture ^^^^^ at the top of the screen is of the tower. Never seen it from that angle, it actually looks pretty cool.
-
The middle is the creator of light (the traveler) and the outer is the destroyer of the light (the darkness) the brighter the light the darker the shadow.
-
I always thought it looked like "The Last Array"
-
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a coyote's head. But that's really just me and my friend's theory.
-
It also looks like the dude with the white mask's mask.

Edited by neonymous: 5/27/2014 5:50:35 PMThe Tricorn is a type of hat. That's what the symbol design is based off of. We don't have the symbols in-game meaning, yet. The design is based of an old type of hat, though, lol.
