What if, wandering around the planet or moon you are on, minding your own business... All of a sudden your HUD is interrupted by an incoming transmission... If you have played Warframe or some other games, doing a heroic deed would get you the attention of certain parties, for example in Warframe a particularly nasty set of bounty hunters were the Grustrag Three, hunting you and your party down with their devastating and crippling attacks. I would think having people come after us after slaying a boss or preventing a Fallen movement from going through or imparing some Vex research. Could attract the attention of bounty hunters.
It would add an element of surprise and interest, maybe even bring your group closer for fending off a tough foe who will stop at nothing to incapacitate you and bring your head back to the one who requested the hit. And maybe the bounty hunters could even have stories.
Like the Stalker, (Another Warframe bounty Hunter.) Watched the invasion of us, the Tenno and became infuriated by the death and destruction, so he vowed to hunt them down for what they have done to the solar system.
It would really add another layer of this big game, where the city truly is the only safe place. And everything is trying to kill you. Thoughts?
