Oklahoma teacher had sex with student multiple times.

She got fired and was charged with second degree rap[i]e[/i]. The student was 18 when they started having intercourse. What do you think of this and of the charges against her?

He's hit the age of consent. Honestly, if he was from a different school boning the teacher this wouldn't even be an issue. She's young. He went with it. What people 18 and older want to do with each other is their own business. I'd possibly understand if he hadn't reached the age of consent for his state, but he had. And with a loophole, this young woman has a blight on her record, even though guys younger than him could be in college (a good college buddy of mine didn't turn 18 until December of our freshman year). She's young enough to be recently out of college and still in touch with someone who's 18. Victims of circumstance. If he was all on board with it, getting to get with this young teacher, she's being punished for nothing (well, a loophole).
