Dark Souls II Crown of the Sunken King DLC confirmed, along with 2 later DLCs to follow.
Opinions? Looks good imo, but I'm not sure if I'll be getting it unless From fixes some seriously flawed things about DS2.

Opinions? -blam!-ing dropped. Between my problems with Dark Souls 2, and the fact that FromSoft said they weren't going to release DLC, because they wanted to deliver a complete experience, during the development of Dark Souls, I am not looking forward to this at all, and it is strongly persuading me against buying future products of theirs.

I hope the "The letters are worn beyond recognition" sign will have something to do with it. Like we go back in time (again) to see what it says maybe?
-
I was wondering why there weren't any snowy environments in DSII. I guess now I'll get my fill of a frozen wasteland hopefully.
-
I'm staying cautious. I love the Souls series, but I don't do episodic DLC. Each episode would have to provide some serious amount of content for me to justify that.
-
Is it coming out in america too?
-
I don't doubt they'll be worth the price, Artorias DLC was pretty good and expansive for its price. Looking forward to it.

Bump for good news

Edited by Winter Soldier: 6/4/2014 8:45:28 PMCan people please stop saying that From said they wouldn't release DLC for the game. They said that during the development of DS1 and a few months before DS2 came out they said they would do it if fans wanted it. Anywho, all aboard the hyyyyyyype train. I don't expect this to be as good as Artorias of the Abyss (the best DLC ever created, mostly due to the fact that it was actually cut content), but I still think it will be pretty cool. Also Sunken King, meaning possible connections to Heide's Tower or New Londo from DS1.

Edited by Dildact: 6/4/2014 7:06:44 PMGood. Now that game doesn't have to fade to obscurity for being sub par and not having any DLC. *Edit Also suck it Sony Ponies, Xbox gets it a day before you!
-
Not all that hype, especially since it's episodic content, which screams that all the areas will be incredibly short.
-
Oh shit. Hype. I thought From said they weren't doing DLC?
-
A few things to note. 1. Moving poison statues. -blam!-. 2. Ivory King... I'm leaning towards that being Straid's. 2. The Old Iron King is going to be awesome because of his huge connection with Gywn. So I'm the most excited for that by far. I really hope they expound on the King's connection with Gwyn.
-
Damn, that looks awesome! I can't wait for these to release.

Edited by KingKrown: 6/4/2014 5:31:44 PMI'm excited for this, glad they decided to do some DLC. I'm sure we'll get our monies worth. Now....I have to find the USB in which my Dark Souls 1/2 and other game's data is saved..-_-

Edited by Tyger: 6/4/2014 4:48:04 PMI knew it was a good idea to keep my Xbox 360 This is also funny because From said they weren't going to release DLC at all.
