I've been thinking a lot about it. Games are really a matter of opinion, so you can't really tell what games are better. Sales arent the best way of settling it becuase someone could likely pre-order a game or buy a game, and then not like it. Also, sales for PS3 were largely made up of long time fans of sony, before Xbox came out.

I prefer Sony exclusives over Xbox exclusives; it's all opinions. Sales are usually a good indicator of interest. Retention, though, is another story. I know I usually keep the PS exclusives I buy. I don't know what that last point is supposed to entail. The same can be said for most Xbone owners, now. If your long-term fans can push you over the edge after a disasterous launch in which you initially lost them, then they did something right (more exclusives, price drop, etc.)
