dont know i have not played the game :( but i would imagine Yes. Just a basic hood would make sense since that is his outfit.

It's now confirmed that the hunter does not start out with a hood or a cape, simply a wrap-around neck cloth. If you need proof check out the leaked hunter gameplay or the GDC cape progression visual. The hunter starts out with no hood.

Thats the cape. The hood is part of the "look"
