The only customization I've seen so far gun wise is very minor tweaks to things like the scope and/or ammo type. It's only because we're such a low level though. The higher level gear has a lot more potential to be awesome. And I have not seen any melee weapons. However, Hunters can use Throwing Knives from a perk!
