In regards to the strike. Was there an option to change difficulty levels? If so, does the loot table correlate for each difficulty?

Yes, we had access to the Brave and Legend difficulties. We did the Legend one, and it kicked our [i]asses[/i]. We finally persevered and got some sweet lootz. I believe you get better loot for higher difficulties, yes.
