Why are the police not as revered as the military?
Because it's more acceptable to kill a foreigner than a fellow countrymen?

Also, this post is not against terms of use because "Forum Coping" is no longer against terms of use. On Topic: Typical citizen has much more first had experience with police than with military, probably speeding tickets.
