Let's say I decide to just leave everything behind, and started travelling the world. Everything we'd own would be in our backpacks, and we'd just explore places and experience loads of things.
Would you be willing to come along and leave most if not everything behind? I am just curious to see what everyone's thoughts are.

Sadly, while traveling on your own and hitchhiking could be done a few decades ago with relative ease, it's much harder to do today because of how dangerous things have become, and because of money issues. A friend of mine has told me all of his stories about hitchhiking when he was younger, and how easy it was to get a bit of money for your next meal and so on. Even in those days, it was a risk, but today, with things being the way they are, it's not only hard, but very risky. If I could travel without the risk, maybe I would. But as I get older all I'd like to do is find a spot to my own, carve it to my liking, and settle down. Only then would I consider the other avenues of travel.
