I suppose the one thing I'll say (in short) about competitive multiplayer is I'm a little disappointed that the only supers available to me are insta-kills. There's no gameplay or strategy about it. You just sort of build up your meter then get a free kill or two. >.> That's bugs me a bit after how Reach's armor abilities at least added some give and take strategy to the gameplay. This honestly feels more like the Nuke or Dogs from CoD.
Thoughts?

After playing the alpha for a bit, I honestly don't have a problem with it. Ya it can get annoying when a Titan smashes you or you get disintegrated, but it makes it better! I love turning the corner and getting one or two kills with a nova bomb! It also adds a bit of suspense, or that "aww man" moment to the game; you think you're going to kill him then next thing you know he nova bombs you. Also, the golden gun, although very powerful, can be a complete waste if you can't aim or are attacked from behind. Just my 2 cents :)

I'm not in the alpha--or beta, or whatever it is called. I'm not really interested in Destiny at all. However, I am interested in the competitive-multiplayer aspect. Can anyone give me a brief synopsis? How does it play.

Well, you have other abilities besides your supers, but the thing I want to talk about is how the hand cannon is a bit under powered. It is great at going for headshot kills but other than that it is pretty weak, probably because I only have common hand cannons and they all have the same stats.

Wait for the full game and all your wants will be met. We will have a lot to do

I think supers add plenty of strategy, in that it gives everyone the equal chance of surprising the enemy. I think it adds to the pacing of the game which I also like a lot!
