i know what happens man. i read the trilogy.
its just surprising to me that this super badass race got their asses handed to them by a race they made

Oh, well might as well have written it out for another reader where didn't know then. :b That's very true, I find it kinda weird too that this Tier 0 species capable of creating species, FTL travel, terraforming, controlling gravity and altering matter wouldn't be prepared for an assault on them. But it is what it is, they couldn't have been flawless.
