Okay so i was exploring the map like you do, and i was heading towards "The Devils Lair" but not on the actual mission. On the way there is a big fight between the Fallen and the Hive. After killing them all and you turn right is a hallway with green glowing crystals and if you go towards it you see its a tunnel and it goes pretty far down until you reach the the Hive enemies. There level is [??] and its all in red, I have some pretty powerful weapons and heavy weapons, no matter what you throw at them or shoot at them, you wont even take 1hp off them. There are at least 20 of them (two being wizards) i tried all my heavy ammo and all i managed to finally take of him was 1hp to his shield and thats it. It's crazy! But it was quite amusing. After allowing myself to be killed by one of these immortal crazy hive dudes, his level finally came up and he's a level 20, but even still... it's impossible to take even the smalliest of health off them. Just thought you should know about this bug, stay well away from this tunnel! :)

In the area before the airplain graveyard. The building in the middle thats defended bij a few fallen. When you go inside, then go downstairs you get a few fallen again but go to your right then take the staires to the left . Then walk a bit and to your left there we're 1ogre and 2 small gun men with ?? Lvls

That doesn't make them immortal.

Not invincible.. But if the level difference is higher than.. say.. 10, then the enemies will only take 1 damage from your weapons - it's Bungie's way of preventing you from going to areas that you aren't ready for yet - gives you more of a sense of progression - you can go oh -blam!- yes now I'm level 18 I can go try and take down that area of enemies and see what's over there. This will apply to all enemies that are higher levels than you - the same system is in RPG games (think Borderlands, Diablo).

These level 20 areas are one of the ways Bungie put up "invisible walls." I happened upon some others Guardians fighting a Hive Ogre. Joining them, we pounded every round and power we had into it (there were about six or seven of us) for ten minutes and its health didn't decrease at all. I have a hunch that some of the level 20s are invincible in these areas, and its likely that the enemies will not be as "immortal" in the finished game, or even in the Beta. Just a hunch though.

I bet it's no bug. It just for the alpha stoping you to go to deep in game. I have seen 3-4 of those ?? Guys out there

Edited by Jack Lillian: 6/20/2014 12:32:26 AMi explored that entire tunnel, granted it took a lot of deaths and good maneuvering, but there's nothing other than a shortcut to the shipyard area from there... at least for now
