When Arby and 343i Guilty Spark try to warn Tartarus the Prophets have deceived him about the Halo rings and The Great Journey, Tartarus replies with what you say is heresy!
OK, he views Arby as a heretic for allying with the humans and dismissing the Prophets teachings but what else would Tartarus expect Arby to be after the prophets secretly plotted with the Brutes an Elite genocide?
-
IF YOU WANNA KEEP YO BRAIN INSIDE YO HEAD I'LL TELL YO BOYS TO CHILL.
-
It wasn't direct genocide, the Prophets mostly just ordered a shift in power. It's just that the Elites fought back.
-
Because Tartarus, being a Brute, was a shortsighted fool who figured that the Arbiter was trying to win back the Elite's favor in the eyes of the Prophets.
-
Why is anything relating to the covenant so much more interesting than anything with humans.

Edited by Votable: 6/19/2014 2:31:16 AMNow someone put the gameplay of Tartarus jumping off the ledge ending the boss fight
-
I love Spark's connotation when explaining the purpose of Halo. "They and all additional sentient life in three radii of the galactic center, died, as planned."

Halo MCC better allow us to switch to the old song like CEA and the sound effects too.

"Please don't shake the lightbulb"

Someone is late
Great, but what are we discussing?
I've always wanted to know how he could call arbiter a heretic when the Oracle Guilty Spark himself agrees with him.

Edited by BerzerkCommando: 6/18/2014 11:12:37 AMDat RPG styled boss battle. Besides the Heretic leader, Regret and Tartarus just broke gameplay.
-
Well the brutes are known for their fanatic nature blinding them from reason.
-
Tartarus probably figured the Sangheili would just accept a lower position in the Covenant and several dead political leaders. Brutes are cunning, but not the most intelligent race out there.
-
The prophets probably told the brutes that the elites were heretics before they overthrew the elites.
-
Brace yourselves. HD wedding cake is coming.
-
Great, but what are we discussing?

Edited by BaconShelf: 6/18/2014 11:30:37 AMIt's 343GS, not 2401. 2401 was captured by the Gravemind. And even so, it's spelt 'Penitent' not 'Pendant'.
