Let me start with the list of bugs.
The first bug I encountered was one with the rendering of my guardian holding his gun. It was only the first day and I did not see it after that. Half of the gun; the handle, the butt and everything up to the barrel area would not render, even when I changed weapons. The weapons being rendered were pulse rifles. I can't remember if I changed weapon types or not after that.
The second bug that stands in my memory was that I could not see the other member in my fire team for a stretch when we were traveling through the abandoned building to the cosmodrome. It was the first tunnel you enter on the way there. I could see his tag on the screen but not his character, and he had the same problem with me. After traveling through the tunnel some more it cleared up however, and we did not have the same problem again. It did not last long, it cleared up before we encountered the first set of enemies in the building.
Next was a Fallen Captain that did not die after being killed. His health bar showed a small amount of HP left, but he did completely stopped moving. I could still see damage being dealt, but nothing would happen. The first time he simply stood there like a statue, the second time he laid down on the ground, but like the first he would not disappear.
The 4th bug happened intermittently, but only occasionally on numerous points on the map. Enemies would be standing at one point then they would be suddenly moved to another point, as if they were being reset in the middle of the fight.
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I clear a room of fallen, I can still hear them chattering as if there's still more in the room. I don't know, maybe you put it there to make the ruins creepier Bungie, but when I clear a room I think it should go silent! Don't you?
Those are the only bugs I can think of and they did not impact the game very much at all.
Now for gameplay feedback.
The combat was fun, and while I wouldn't say it was like coming home to Halo, it was similar enough that it didn't take me long to get a strong handle on it. One thing I have to say though, is that for precision aiming the controls tend to force you to aim with the left trigger. I found it incredibly hard to make a head shot with just about any single fire weapon. In Reach and Halo 4 it was as easy as pie, but not so much in Destiny. With all of that said, I still enjoyed aiming that way, I just think it's unfair to force me to do that if I want to make a headshot.
The guns were all fun to use and fool around with. I particularly like that it tells us exactly how fast the gun can shoot in a single minute instead of giving us some vague number. I like how each class is unique, even down to the way they all have different jump mechanics. It was a little tricky learning each one but it was fun.
One thing I'd like to suggest though is upping the number of chests that give you gear. Every time I hit chest I hoped for a new gun or a new piece of armor, only to get more glimmer, which I had an abundance of. It just seemed like every time I got something interesting from a chest, I had already found it either in the gun shop or dropped by a random enemy, making it a pointless find when I did find gear from a chest.
And on the subject of drops, I think that when you accept a mission from the city to kill a high value target i.e. a special enemy found in a place that's not typical to find them you should get some better drops from them. I once got a mission to kill a Fallen whose name I can't remember, who was enormous, even bigger than a captain and he didn't drop a damn thing. Very anticlimactic. He was even in that one room from the 2013 E3 trailer, though he didn't crawl out of the wall.
On the subject of patrol mission,s I would like to see more sweep, salvage and special target missions than scouting missions please. I don't mind doing them once in a while, and it would be nice if they took me to a new place I've never been before, but they always seem to require I go out of my way and the path I planned to travel when I'd rather be killing things.
