Open world rpg, use skills more to level them up, enemies drop loot, must I go on?

Levelling system and open world RPG are big factors in the game fair enough, but the feel of the game and the experience you get out of it is completely different, one is medieval with no technology (except for dwarven mechanical items), and destiny is futuristic over more than one planet, it has guns and aliens.

No destiny is a mix of mediaeval fantasy and scifi. If it was just scifi we would have a mass effect spin off. No fun. Destiny takes med. fantasy and mixes it with the future with the enemy names like trolls, wizards ect, weapons with distinct names because of their feats in battle, magic ect.
