What if Destiny doesn't live up to expectations?
Serious Question here: What would you guys do if Destiny doesn't live up to expectations? What if it turns out that it suck worse than CoD? What would you do?
Okay. Lets rephrase the OP, imagine the Alpha never happened, and the final product of Destiny sucked. What would you do?

If I dont get 200hrs gameplay out of a game I class it as a failure. So I got bf4 in november I clocked up 271hrs by January if I gad paid $50 dollars for the standard game I would have been happy. But unfortunately I brought premium so I needed to hit 400 hours but it sucked alot and now the game is in the bin. Destiny needs to last 200 for me to buy extra content or the game. I play alot of deathmatch so fairly easy to hit my targets.

I played the alpha, and honestly if the alpha was the "full game" I would say it was a good game and play it for a good month or so, so that being said, the alpha was what got me excited for the game. So I dont see this game "sucking" but there is a possible that it could be one of those games where you play it for a couple months and thats it.

Plenty of games over the years don't live up to the hype. There will always be other games.

You will see sales numbers that is never been heard of across all platforms. Game of the Year. Right now, others are looking at their videos of Destiny Alpha gameplay having meetings seen how they can duplicate what comes natural for Bungie TWCFTM

As an Xbox gamer, we're starving for a quality MMO experience and although this isn't specifically a MMO in the truest sense, since we have already had ESO delayed 6 months and The Division pushed back into 2015, the Xbox playerbase literally have nothing that comes even close to a MMO experience on their console to enjoy other than Destiny this year. If Destiny turns out to be everything we hope for, it'll be a great year for us. If not, we have nothing until 2015 to satisfy our MMO esque cravings and that will make me a very sad panda. I'm seriously looking forward to the Xbox 1 beta in July...
