Should I see a doctor?
Okay, so my butt hurts and it turns out there's this bump on the left side at the end of my anus. Is this a problem I should be concerned about? I don't want to run into the Doctor's office asking someone to stick their finger in my butt.

Edited by BADMAGIK: 6/26/2014 6:05:25 AMChill OP, it's just a hemorrhoid. You can't get rid of them, but you can keep them under control. I believe the only way to remove them is through surgery. Causes of hemorrhoids are, excessive sitting, painful bowl movements (most likely you are holding it in instead of going to the bathroom) and pregnancy.

2 RepliesEdited by Porsche 914: 6/26/2014 2:27:45 AMSounds like a hemorrhoid. I think treatment is usually more fiber in your diet, and more water. I also think they make some creams for it. Keep an eye on it for a couple days and if it persists then go to the doctor.

How big is the bump? It could be a pimple. I had one on my ass cheeks though... -blam!-ing roommates who leave the damn seat dirty with their piss stains :/ Thing was size a quarter... I could not sit down for 4 days.
