Cross console characters?
I know the consoles can't play with each other but I can't imagine there's a reason why I wouldn't be able to use my character on any system if they're stored on Bungie servers.
Has there been any word on this?

You can transfer your character from a current gen console to it's next gen bro but you cannot do this across platforms. Deej stated (I believe) that it is primarily Sony and Microsoft's decision to add a service like this.
