Nissan 350z

What's the consensus on the 2004-ish 350z? I can find them pretty cheap, but they seem like nice cars. Basically I was looking at good looking cars for around $12k, which isn't much, but it seems like there's still a few decent performing and looking cars used in that range still.

  • They're ok. Wouldn't be my choice but they're ok. If I were in the market for a 2 door coupe for around 12k I would either get an e36 m3 or Pontiac GTO. If you're willing to deal with a more plasticky interior then you could always go with an ls Fbody.

  • I know that it appeals to the younger generation. To me all 'Z's (240-present) are just moderate sports cars. Not enough power to make them worth while. I've never got that - Go out of you way to get a middle performance V6 with meh styling, for more money than they're worth. Honestly, I'd rather have an RX-8. But, to each their own.

    • IMO if you could save up for a decent 370Z that's the one I'd aim for 350's are kind of lack luster, and I've heard the build quality can be rather hit or miss with them. That said I'd like to know what you're looking for in a car in that price range? I can certainly give suggestions
