Nice shading, you got a very good ink and charcoal effect there.
I am guessing that within the story, the blemishes are hickeys?

Thanks :]. My work, however, is starting to show my lethargy lately. I rarely get beyond the sketchy stages. And you are correct, those are indeed hickeys, albeit lazily done hickeys.
