Wait, 343 actually has a community manager and not some lazy slob like DeeJ? [Jealousy intensifies]

 • It's not that great. You can get banned for being rude to people there.

 • Well, I can't here. If I or anyone else could, 2/3 of b.net's population would be gone.

 • 343i has a zero tolerance policy towards unwarranted hate and bias. It's admirable, but ultimately more of a nuisance in the grand scheme of the internet.

 • As compared to here, it kinda sucks in that regard. The transition from being a dick to holding my e-tongue gets a bit jarring sometimes.

 • Definitely. I can seriously see how something like that could help here though. Too much mindless hating on B.net... Actually scratch that, the old moderator system on Bungie.old was perfect. Consistent moderation (Recon banning himself for breaking a rule. lel) but loose enough to allow quirky hijinks to ensue. I appreciate the new system of muting, but I refuse to mute anyone because the people I'd mute would be the ones who spout out ignorant statements, and if I mute them, I can't suppress them or prove them wrong to the general populace so they're not misinformed.

 • Let's be honest here: nobody can supress these folks except the admins, and look at how well that works out. By Muting, at least you get a little more peace on your account.

 • Ha. It was originally Jessica Shea (BS Angel), but now it's Bravo. Awesome thing is that Jessica still likes interacting with the community so it's like Halo has two community managers. Both have been awesome at answering my questions and suggestions. =3

 • Thank god they got rid of BS Angel, hate her.

 • She got promoted. She now makes sure everyone at 343i has the resources needed to get their jobs done. Or something like that. She told me it's very hard to describe and the nature of it is constantly changing.

 • Yeah. Before she got promoted, Bravo started writing the Bulletins and the community really liked his bulletins. They may not be snarky or clever, but they're concise and to the point (with the occaisional interesting/goofy story), which is a breath of fresh air in the long line of community managers that meander their way around new Halo info. Plus, he used to be one of us, and has a high status in the pro gamer community. Very likable person.
