To all of you GAMERS
Destiny is arguably going to be one of the biggest games of all time and it obviously has a large support base. I for one am incredibly excited. But one thing everyone has to understand is we are not Playstation users or Xbox users. We are all "gamers". We are all one collective group of people. Now people that own playstations, it is our job to support our fellow gamers on the Xbox that are unfortunately being shorted on the game. It is unfortunate but it is just business between Sony and Activision. Stop trolling. It is Xbox users' job to remain calm and be happy we all get to share in this amazing game, but it is understandable if you guys are upset. Both consoles are undeniably amazing systems that will give all of lasting memories, including with Destiny! Stop the fighting, be more understanding, and get the fact that we will all, always be gamers at the core. See you starside

Console war? Screw it's related to real life and real life it's not worth my time anymore, I have to become a legend! We are not "GAMERS" now we are "GUARDIAN" screw everything we must take back what once belonged to us together! (if some of you want war just go in the crucible,console war it's not worth our time we are FRICKING GUARDIANS!) BTW I would really love to see a community who don't cares about consoles but just about Destiny,it will be really nice!

3 RepliesI agree with you. In the end we are all gamers not matter what you choose to play on be it the Xbox, Playstation, PC or Nintendo. I personally didn't mind the extra DLC and the early start to the beta, but I didn't agree with the beta length on the Xbox. Hopefully they extended for at least another week on all consoles. Xbox owners if you don't like the timed exclusive DLC that Sony paid for, show them that they wasted their money and buy the Xbox version. Sony owners please stop antagonizing Xbox players and Xbox guys stop feeding into it by responding to the teasing and enjoy the game. Keep it Civil and Game ON!

Of course, we need to clarify what you mean by "biggest." If you mean biggest as in "most ambitious," then yes, it is an ambitious title, but I think your use of the word was more leaning towards "greatest," and that is where I can't agree. Destiny is definitely an ambitious title, largely due the medium it's being released on, since PC games with similar formulas as Destiny, are largely "been there, done that" (this is one of the big reasons why Halo was such a success.) I think Destiny will be a solid, polished game, that will (hopefully) give me many many hours of enjoyment, but it isn't really doing anything new. Virtually everything the game is offering has been done before, and it isn't really doing anything new or unique to separate itself from those other games. The 10 yr. life-cycle that is planned, will help solidify it's name in gaming culture, but even still, from what I've seen, I only see this being a good game, even a really good game, but not one of the greatest ever - not a game that people will be talking about 10, 15, or 20yrs. after it's hayday, like DOOM, Baldur's Gate, Zelda or Mario.

4 RepliesThen complain with your $$$ not on the forums. Do you really think the dev can do anything about what the Publisher decided? Most devs are forced to do what the Publisher wants because of the money. Don't buy the game and tell them why. Then it will stop when you hurt them financially. Most devs don't really pay attention to complaints, unless its bug one. I don't buy into that PDLC garbage anymore, so I don't complain about it, just don't buy DLC anymore. I'll vote with my money. If they where real gamers they would have a PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Wii system so there would be no complaints. So if you want to complain about the PS exclusives, go to Activision where it belongs, oh wait but XB users get times exclusives on COD, battlefield and others. So grow up, its a fact of life. Money talks.
