Add prone 2 Desnity
Destiiny needs prone so you can dropshot. It's not realistic if you can't prone cuz how can you hide in the grass then.Guardians can do magic but no prone. That's stupid. Let's tell diejj everyone so they can add it. It's a artsy fix

Dropshoting is for pussies. Are you a pussy? Ever heard of gun skill? You know...that thing called keeping your bullets at an accurate point while people move around.... Kids (like you) always want these sort of things, not because you actually know how to do it but because it is the cool thing to do....

You say it's unrealistic not to have then say that there's magic... Prone is useless in this game. It is meant to be fast-paced, lots of action with little downtime. Adding prone would go completely against the fast-paced theme for PvP and would be useless in almost all cases for PvE.

I could see how prone would benefit players(especially on the moon in pvp) but destiny has a lot of Halo features in it, in case no one saw them, including the fallen(covenant), the hive( the flood) and the guardians(Spartans). It is because of these similarities that bungie has not put prone in the game due to the game bein like the little brother of halo... They need to keep in some classic stuff and prone was not one of them.

But dolphin divers annoy me and I am fine with them not being in Destiny. There is the slide move if you want to learn a dynamic combat move that is way cooler than flopping on the ground IMO. Prone increases the skill gap and the learning curve steepens in first person shooters. Why hasn't Bungie put prone in.

The ONLY reason I would want to be able to prone or at least take a knee is for Sniper balance. I love Sniper Rifles and always tend to gravitate towards them. I'm not big into shooters and never picked up CoD or any other game like Halo or such. I played Mass Effect. Silent Scope, so on and so forth. A good shot in real life as well (Though it's hard to be a bad shot with a sniper rifle). I like having the option of stabilizing myself while trying to line up good shots, especially if I have distance and don't have to worry about an enemy coming up behind me until I've already squeezed off a few rounds. That being said.....NO dropshots! Honestly.....there is no place for that in this game. I'm not going to cry if I can't find a position that helps me not loose my aim every time a slug leaves my rifle.
