I have an ancient account that's 8 years under the profile 'trapsrus'. I had my old account linked to my microsoft account and all the jazz under my current account (somehow?) 'Octsober' but I'm not longer playing games on Microsoft systems, so I made a PSN bungie account for the beta code a few weeks ago.
Today I decided to ruin everything. I Wanted to link all my accounts together to make things 'easier'. I log into my MS Account and attempt to connect my PSN. Says the account's already connected. OK cool lets figure this out... I to my research about linking and unlinking so I want to use my PSN as my main account as it's my primary system now, makes sense right? I unlink my old 8 year account from a junk google account then attempt to link it to my PSN account. I Eventually managed to link the account but I completely screwed myself out of my 8 year status!
I'm at the point where I've made my xbox account at least 3 times now, at least 4 different gmail accounts, another MS account, etc... The whole thing is just F'ed.
I feel like I visit my old account like it's some type of grave ;_;.

Hey trapsrus / Octsober, I'd like to see if I can be of any help.
I log into my MS Account and attempt to connect my PSN.
By this do you mean you logged into your trapsrus account?
I unlink my old 8 year account from a junk google account then attempt to link it to my PSN account.
Can you log into that junk google account? You should still be able to access your 8 year account and relink everything you have back to it.

I have the same problem, although it is still possible to have your PSN linked to your 8 year account, All you need to do is link a Facebook account to your PSN account and then log into the account using Facebook. You will then be able to unlink your PSN and then be able to link it to the 8 year old account by logging into that one. The only worry i have is I don't want to do this just to lose my beta access and the 17 collector codes that i have linked to my current PSN account, although I don't know if my beta code will stay with my PSN account, I'm going to wait till the beta is finished and then move the PSN account across and re-enter the collectors codes onto my old account with my halo progressions. Hope this clarity's it all, and does anyone knows if i would lose beta access or not?
