What Would the World be Like Without America

What would the world be like? And to give direction here is the scenario. After America rebels against Britain and wins, they just disappear. There is no evidence that they were ever there and nobody remembers them. How is history different?

I wonder when and who would have invented the things we made? This would have a significant impact on power, since what's to say they don't just keep it in there military?
