On-and-off Playstation gamer, haven't touched a legitimate console shooter since SOCOM 2 and looking to regain the touch after years of mouse/keyboard mastery. Hoping to invest some solid time in Destiny, so I'll accept just about any invitations, since everything's better with friends.

I have so many fond memories of my time in SOCOM 2, probably one of the only competitive FPS's I was decent at. And yes, I did know it's compatible, but I don't see the control scheme adjusting well. Then again, it's not like I've had a good opportunity to really test it.

Planning to, but not optimistic that it'll translate over as well as PC. High-end peripherals spoil you like that. My time in the alpha with the controller wasn't all bad, just rough readjusting to Aim Assist after years of never using it, and trying to reawaken the muscle memories with the sticks. Good problems to have, I'd say.

I'm hoping there will be more options in the final. Such as customizable controls, bloom slider and auto aim disabling

Final version should have, at the very least, button configuration and lighting enhancements, control options are bit more of a grey area.
