It seems that there is a way to correct the incorrect selection of a region and console system for the Destiny Beta.
If you go to the following link and enter the security information they use to keep out bots: [url]http://support.activision.com/DestinyPreOrderSupport?uil=en_US[/url]
You will be taken to a page with a forum that you can fill out for support.
Under the “Error Message” Selection tool, you can select:
[quote]I selected the wrong platform for the Beta (make sure CORRECT platform/region region is selected below).[/quote]
And indeed, in another selection tool you can select the console and region that you SHOULD be on.
I have not tried this out yet to see how Activision will respond as I have the correct information, but I figured some of you may want to try.
If this works, please post so that we can spread the word.

UPDATE: Our Guinea Pigs have been dispatched and are undergoing tests... stay tuned for further updates. Since we like to science on weekdays, expect an update within 1-2 business days (Activision’s hours).
UPDATE 2: I have still yet to hear any reports of Activision responding to requests sent by users with this issue. Stand by for further updates as the beta launches tomorrow.
UPDATE 3: Evilcam has informed me that Bungie has said this method is the ONLY way to correct this issue.
UPDATE 4: Cobblerboy is the first to have notified me that he has successfully used this method and obtained a single code!

So I have an EN-US PSN account but I live in Europe so I chose PS3 Europe. When I go to activate the code on PSN, it says it is invalid. I assume this is because of my PSN account being NA versus my geographical location, yes? I also used the above link this morning (some 12 hours ago) and haven't received a response; not even a confirmation mail stating a ticket had been generated.

Tried the above (picked Americas instead of Europe), and got a quick reply back misinterpreting this as a question of what to pick, not an inquiry to resolve the problem and reissue codes. Trying again, will see how it goes.
