I'm surprised that people still fail to notice the similarities between ODST and Destiny. In ODST, you are dropped into a fairly large city that is filled with covenant. You are free to explore, or you can find objectives with the help of an AI. The ODST himself is not as strong as a spartan. The squad works together to take care of large challenges. Sure the story is Halo, but the first teaser for Destiny was also found in ODST.

I really liked ODST to be honest. Different perspective of the halo universe was sick!
