The auto rifle is good for crucible and destroys up close and at a medium range. A fusion rifle compensates for its faults and a rocket launcher for distance, or you can have a slow firing machine gun for acuracy. If you want you can also use my set up. If you prefer a shotgun use a scout rifle for distance and a heavy of your choice

not sure of the name of the auto rifle i had but by god it was a beast went into iron banner with it and was getting 15 kill streaks with it it was insanely over powered lol 48 bullets slower fire but more damage on aimed fire super accurate and rapid fire on hip fire was a killing machine could also kill at crazy range
