I think the greatest advantage Star Wars has is its infinite potential. In Halo, the universe has been defined and [u]bound[/u]. In Star Wars, nothing is set in stone and as such has infinite capacity to expand and become infinitely more powerful than the Halo universe.

As in, they could discover a civilization more powerful than precursors and forerunners combined a few galaxies over. You can't say it isn't possible.
