Windows Phone 8(i mean win10 universal app) Companion App Request Please
Its officially been a year now guys and girls.
Bungie doesnt give a flying -blam!-

Just wanted there to be a thread so Bungie can see there actually are people on here that use a Windows Phone. Its not as uncommon as youd think and im certain its well within Bungies capabilities to produce an app for Windows Phone 8. (Even Rockstar did it albeit late)
Whats even better is with cross compatible apps, any app on Windows Phone can be downloaded and work flawlessly on the windows 8.1 app store so people with surface tablets (or any windows 8 tablets) can use it too.
Help all of us become the guardians you want us to be (not just the major market share).

Until Bungie decide to release a companion app, a legend from these forums has taken upon the task of bringing an app for us windows phone users to enjoy.

Yeah it would be nice if we could get an app, i have WM10 and W10, it would be nice with a Universal App. I play Destiny on the XB1.

I have the Destiny Stats app. It's ok but I want the same features as the companion app on Google Play. That reminds me, need to order a replacement tablet...

dude i have the nokia lumia and it sucks that i cant get the app. i have an x box one so i wont b playing the beta till the 23rd but i really wana see the app. i wana show all my friends my guardian when i play the beta making them jealous. Bungie i really hope you guys make the app compatible for windows phones. you would make my adventure into the world of destiny fulfilled. halo fan, Xbox fan, Bungie all the way.!

1 ReplyFrankly I am surprised that it isn't schedule to be on Windows Phone. The heavy side scrolling design that I saw in the video is influenced heavily by Windows Phone. And it certainly helps to know that anything developed for WP8 is an easy port over to Windows 8 PC store. Two birds with one stone. And I am sure windows PC users still heavily outweigh those who use an iPad.
