Its officially been a year now guys and girls.
Bungie doesnt give a flying -blam!-
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Just wanted there to be a thread so Bungie can see there actually are people on here that use a Windows Phone. Its not as uncommon as youd think and im certain its well within Bungies capabilities to produce an app for Windows Phone 8. (Even Rockstar did it albeit late)
Whats even better is with cross compatible apps, any app on Windows Phone can be downloaded and work flawlessly on the windows 8.1 app store so people with surface tablets (or any windows 8 tablets) can use it too.
Help all of us become the guardians you want us to be (not just the major market share).

Until Bungie decide to release a companion app, a legend from these forums has taken upon the task of bringing an app for us windows phone users to enjoy.

Destiny Stats takes data from the website and puts it in a nice user friendly mobile interface.
Go download and rate it

ITT: Desticles go full retard

Why don't you contact MS and ask them to change their shitty business practices as far as apps go? Then you might get Destiny app and tons more that are on everything but Windows Phone.
-
Such a small number of people to devote time too. Maybe buy a real phone?
-

As an Android user, I support this. 7.7% market share, right? For enterprise websites browser support usually starts when a browser has around 1-2% market share, so yes, port or allow someone else to port it to WP.
-
So when will we get an answer Bungie?

Yes please. Or at least expose the API so the community can cobble one together!

+1 It's easy to do and people who want it... where's it at?
-
Adding my voice to this. The companion app looks great but I can't ever use it, nor can half a dozen of my friends. And why? Is there any reason Bungie?
-
Here's a good solution .... Never buy a windows phone in the first place !!! Hope that helps (:

YES YES YES! Windows Phone keeps rising. Jump on the WP train Bungie!!
-
Edited by Mycroft: 7/17/2014 3:15:01 PMI've said it before, but this is why Bungie is not making a WindowsPhone app. It seems a bit childish to me, and is a poor business decision, considering the expanding market share WP can expect, especially overseas. But since porting to WP is so easy, the only reason they would not make an app is out if spite.
-
I don't have a Windows phone and even I think there should be a companion app for them. I can't fathom why any major app these days would skip any of the big three phone operating systems.
-
Just because owning a Windows phone is not "uncommon"... doesn't make it any less STUPID. What are you thinking!? You need Jesus!!
-
I would love a Companion App for my Nokia 1020. Please don't leave us out of the complete Destiny experience Bungie!
-
Add me to the list :) Nokia 928 here and looking to get one of the newer phones (like the 1528). Please Bungie!
