Its officially been a year now guys and girls.
Bungie doesnt give a flying -blam!-
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Just wanted there to be a thread so Bungie can see there actually are people on here that use a Windows Phone. Its not as uncommon as youd think and im certain its well within Bungies capabilities to produce an app for Windows Phone 8. (Even Rockstar did it albeit late)
Whats even better is with cross compatible apps, any app on Windows Phone can be downloaded and work flawlessly on the windows 8.1 app store so people with surface tablets (or any windows 8 tablets) can use it too.
Help all of us become the guardians you want us to be (not just the major market share).

Until Bungie decide to release a companion app, a legend from these forums has taken upon the task of bringing an app for us windows phone users to enjoy.

Destiny Stats takes data from the website and puts it in a nice user friendly mobile interface.

Edited by mRNA: 7/22/2014 4:18:45 AMThat would be nice gift to your Destiny fans, Bungie. If they got all the back ends set and done for their iOS and Android apps then it should be relatively easy to develop a Universal Windows app. I will be surprised if Bungie doesn't have any plan to develop for Windows by the end of this year and then not surprised seeing as Bungie has been distancing themselves from Microsoft for whatever reason.

Didn't know anyone uses windows phones...

Edited by FRo57: 7/17/2014 1:43:52 AMEspecially because Bungie wants Destiny to have a 10 year life. I'm getting a Windows Phone soon and hope that I can fully immerse myself in this game!

Agreed
-
I'm all for Windows Phone Support. Its my Phone of choice.

-
I SUPPORT THIS
-
Signed. Hope it works out for you =]
-
Signed. tired of missing out on companion apps, WP8 is a solid and popular smartphone platform, whilst I know its MS not helping but come on, time we stopped being penalised
-
Absolutely! Would love to have app support on WP8 and WP8.1. Hoping that devs are listening in.
-
Please Bungie let us all use this tool
-
As a Windows Phone 8 user, would love to have the App
-
So, I've really enjoyed being a part of this community, but apperently, because of the phone I decided to buy a rather long time ago, I can no longer utilize this community away from home :( I was disappointed but accepting of not getting support for mobile app, but now bungie.net doesn't work worth a darn either. Seems odd that a website wouldn't be available to all.:(
-
Although I have an iPad...it would be very much appreciated if it were to come to the Windows Phone.

Edited by NoseyFerret98: 7/17/2014 10:03:06 AMI have a windows 8 phone, laptop and tablet so I would definetly +1 this :D

Edited by BlueReaper: 7/17/2014 12:41:32 PMThis site was a mess on my Windows phone yesterday, but today it works brilliantly. I have good hope bungie will make a Wp app or support a company that does. A good number of Wp users are also gamers. A part of my choice to get a windows phone was the Xboxlive app. Sent from my Cyan Lumia
-
As an owner of a nokia Lumia Icon i agree please bring it over to the windows os.
-
You can Add me and my lumia 920 to this list. I`m getting fed up of devs not supporting WP7/8. Regarding bungie`s seemingly hostile attitude towards microsoft and xbox fans, I have a lot of friends that will not buy destiny as they feel betrayed. When you get " Bungie Backstabbing Bas****s" in virtually every conversation you have then the PR has failed somewhere.
-
The Destiny Companion app even looks like the xbox app on windows phone. The port would be sooo easy.

Some may have already said this

Edited by Mycroft: 7/17/2014 3:39:20 PMIf bungie released the API, I'm sure someone could make a basic WP app in a day. Edit: this was suppose to be a reply to someone else, sorry.
-
Bungie doesn't already like Microsoft if you haven't noticed lately, doubt it will come out for a while, IF at all.
-
>open b.net in your windows web browser. You now have the app.
-
Yes please!
