Opinions on Pulse Rifles
So I played the alpha at a friends, and I tried out the pulse rifle, but I couldn't handle the recoil. It felt like every shot threw my aim way off, so I stopped immediately, and used a scout rifle. But after going back and watching gameplay of the pulse rifles, it doesn't look all that bad. I wanted to use them just cause I'm used to the battle rifle, and I'm not sure if I will, but what are y'all's opinions on the pulse rifle? How does it compare to other primary weapons? How does it compare to the scout rifle and hand cannon?
TLDR what do you think of the pulse rifles in destiny?

4 RepliesI loved the one I had. The scope was perfect. The recoil I dealt with by timing my shots. It jerked up but felt like it came right back down to the same spot after..not sure if that's what was happening or if I was using a reflex without realizing it . So timing my shots let me nail head shots often. I also used it quite a bit in the crucible I switched off on that and an AR often. In pve the one I had was weak.so during boss fights and mini bosses I switched up often to the AR.
