Will the statistics from Beta transfer to the final game?
From what I understand, there is still no official info on this.
I've spent many hours in Alpha and doing the same in Beta. While it is true we are testing this code at our own free will, I would prefer not to level up for the third time.
While thoes 8 levels wouldn't hurt day one players that were not in the Beta, it would still be a nice symbolic gesture and reward for the rest of us here.

Everything from the Beta are said to have a possible chance to transfer over. However, this is Bungie's stress test to see if they can. If they succeed, everything in the game from Beta will be into the full game. If not, well, you will know that as well. As for statistics, I haven't gotten a clear word of that either, likely the same story.

There's always a big chance that the beginning will be different. As someone who does this sort of thing myself I wouldn't want anyone to miss the changes I put in my game and since this is a Beta 2 months from the launch date the changes might be small or really big depending on how fast Bungie can work but there will still be changes.

6 RepliesBungie's engineer Roger Wolfson has already made it clear. “Let’s say Destiny 2 [and] Destiny 3 are out, and we have new players joining the fun. [They] want to play those new games alongside those who have been playing Destiny from the beginning. [We want to ensure] they won’t feel like they’re four years behind. And then, if they want to, they’ll be able to go back and pick up the old content on their same character. So we’ve done a lot of planning for how that’s going to work, to not make people feel like they have years worth of levelling up to do.” What this means, players whom have not played the Beta does not have any disadvantages for having a late start. Hence, you know what this means ;)
