Allow Crafting new weapons
When dismantling weapons let use some of their components to create/enhance weapons.

it looks like all those parts will be used for higher lvl weapons and gear. if you go to the vendors with the lvl 20 gear and hit inspect you'll see to unlock the abilities you'll need more then glimmer. i imagine weapons will probably start needing them around lvl 10 or so in small amounts and then the components will become a limited resourse

That's something I didn't think of. Modding existing weapons with parts. You could up the damage or make them elemental or something

No the gun components are for vanguard/crucible weapons. No need for a crafting system duh.

Hey this is just beta. There has to be some sort of crafting system. What do you think the gun components are for, has to be some kindve modification system or even a whole crafting system that could be really simple. Hopefully you don't just turn it in for money or respect.

I think this will implemented in the area that was open temporarily today. There was a lot of space in that area and it seemed combat focused. I could see a work bench or something like that set up to craft or improve weapons (seeing as how it seems destiny is all about gear)
