Post Beta-Round One

Alright everyone, we've finished up the first half of the Beta. If you ask me it flew by WAY too quickly! I loved the story missions and had a lot of fun running the strike and exploring. The Crucible is not my favorite, I am pretty terrible at it, haha. (The few of you who played PvP with me saw that firsthand). While I only got to play with a few of you in this first half, I hope to see more of you all in part 2! What was your favorite/least favorite aspect? What are your plans for round 2?

  • Both PvP and PvE were great, especially with a fireteam of friends, but I gotta say hands down my favorite part was hearing the banter going back and forth between you all! From the serious moments of tactical insight to the random hilarity that almost gets me killed do to the laughter that follows. The standalone game is great to play, but it's you guys that will truly keep me coming back for more!

  • I wish there was an easier way for us to organize Fireteams. I felt when I just wanted to do anything everyone on was in a group. I played most of the story missions alone.

  • So far, as long as you've got a Fireteam, Destiny has been a blast. I've run the Strike many a time with TBF-ers, each run a testament to patience, teamwork, and tactics. The same holds for Crucible matches, where cleverly orchestrated assaults yield valor and victory. Every day I manage to crawl through is another day closer to becoming Legend, and so far, just from this brief taste, I can't wait to hold back the Darkness with the rest of Team Best Friends!

  • Destiny is definitely a social experience. I think pve is where I'm going to be spending the majority of my time in the main game. Hands down my favorite part was doing the strike with you guys. I enjoyed the pvp, but I think it needs some fine tuning. Overall, I'm even more hyped about this game than I was already, and that's saying something.

  • I enjoyed the pve a lot more than PvP. Running around old Russia with tbf is a lot of fun, especially the strike. I didn't play it in the alpha but ran it twice so far. I'm glad I remembered the PS4 included Mic so I can communicate with you all. I didn't really enjoy the PvP unless your team sticks together and communicates. Over all this game is great and I hope the month of August flies by!!!

  • The story missions were pretty awesome. I really liked the strike and the explore missions. I also need more practice in the crucible. Can't wait to play again with you all

  • I loved the story missions, too. Pvp was fun, but I need a lot of practice. I finally got to play with a group last night and it was great. In the second half , I want to try some story missions/ strike with a team.
