Community has spoken on arm bands
I've noticed that the community is coming together in a sense, and they have spoken, The warlock arm bands are simply lack luster, and seem like they were and after thought while the other 2 classes' received flashy pieces of class armor that makes them stand out that much more. I'm aware that there are legendary bonds around level 20 that have holograms on them, but even those seem somewhat boring next to the other class gear that I've seen at legendary levels. Most of the arm bands that were in the better had little to no variation and many people have spoke out and even switched classes for this reason. I've left a poll that includes some ideas that have been thrown around for a possible change. Personally I feel that extending the arm band to a full sleeve would be a nice fix, others think that we should get a shoulder piece or a hood, and even others have brought up the idea of being able to change the color of your abilities like your grenade, melee, and nova bomb.

42 RepliesI'd like to wait and see how you like the Warlock class items in the final game. Some of them are outlandish. As a Warlock, myself, I love the arm bands. They're dignified. I didn't join this noble order for bling. That's how Hunters roll. That said, the debate about the art is awesome, so let it roll. Keep telling us what you think.

4 RepliesI love using the warlock as my main character, but the bond for this character is barely visible and very disappointing. A full sleeve would be best suited as it would be more noticeable. Considering that the characters outfit would have already been unwrapped, it would seem as though it would be mainly a matter of different textures to apply to that part of the model. I also know that there will have to be changes made to NPCs, Gear drops etc. But after all, you are a professional company that should be able to make these changes very simply. I really hope that you will be able to make this happen.

It is fine the way it is. Looking forward to the journey to lvl20, will celebrate when my warlock proves herself worthy enough to wear the holographic armbands!

Leave the bonds the same and stop complaining. They don't even matter in the mix of things plus you get hologram arm bands when you level high enough.

The arm band on the warlock is okay were it's at because at higher levels you get hologram that pop of your arm which makes the side cloth on titans and hoods on hunters look bad. Well maybe not to much the hunter.

I like the idea of either a pauldron or pauldron cloak. Something that goes on the shoulder but doesn't limit movement.

I get that the hunters are the ones who have a cloak but I think the warlock would look quite official with a shoulder cape (similar to the one Ezio from Assassins Creed wears). That's not too flashy but it still stands out more than the armband.

I personally favor the idea of a gauntlet because that seems to be the vessel for your power.

If anything warlocks should have a gauntlet to protect their hand from the void

I think the warlock class item should be as it is but put a hanging cloth from the band like Etzio in Assassins Creed 2 that would be something you notice and not have to tell you friends like hey I have a new band do you see it and they are always like nope... And also the hanging cloth could be different shapes lenghts and could even display the icon that the hologram bands do now.

I think glove on one hand would be nice. Especially on this one with "power" which Warlock holds in character's equipment menu.

I think head/helmet accessories would be cool. Like feathers or trophies from dead enemies!

I like the warlock robes as is and the trenchcoats later on look awesome. Stop trying to change them! This forum is for the armbands which really need to be rethought.
