[b][u]Present day: Italy sends its 4 ships, one at a time, into space. All four make it into space, the first flight explodes once 500 miles out of the atmosphere, the second makes it all the way out and halfway back before engine failure and crash lands into the Atlantic, 3rd makes it home but due to re-entry has substantial injuries to enjined and cockpit. Final attempt: perfect attempt besides a slightly rough landing. Italy is the first country to have a spacecraft reach the vacuum of Space and return unscathed! [/u][/b]
