Bungie,
Please add a Audio/Sound/Music control panel to the options in Destiny. Your music is great, but when I want to listen to my own music I have to either turn my game sound way down or listen to my music and yours battle it out in my head.

This whole deal is done. 1.1.2 update. Close the thread already ! peace*
-
Feels good being able to turn it off on my 360. hatred of last-gen intensifies
-
Screw you. Marty O'donell is a sant and should be worshipped and loved.
-
You should read the weekly updates. This feature will be implemented in 1.1.2.

It would be great to strike to pantera.

-

-
U haven't they done this yet?
-
Please please please add the setting. Only game I have that you can't control music.
-
Destiny definitely needs to fix this
-
I can't tell you how hard it is to talk while dinklebot is reading script at the mission start

Edited by Kone19ps: 1/13/2015 10:40:36 PMThis makes my new headset almost useless. I mainly got a new headset to reduce noise at night that would wake my dogs or girlfriend. It gives me far better sound quality for everything and I love the ambiance of the surround but the main problem is I can't hear chat at all over everything else going on. Seriously I have sega genesis games with fx and music volume control. Are you lazy or did you sign a contract with Paul McCartney that says don't you dare let them turn down my music. (This is a troll I know he wasn't the main composer it's a shot at contracting with activision ruining what could have been an amazing game). Then again we didn't even have crucible chat at first so I'm just going to go with incompetence. Also I hear the orbit weeah weeooh music in my sleep it needs to stop.

Edited by gotkicks_net: 1/25/2015 12:16:10 AMI also hate some people with mics that, for instance, burp in the micლ(ಠ益ಠლ)WHO DOES THAT. If they dont make audio controls ima explode!.·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. I really need to turn down the mic volume some times!
-
Also yes. As much as I enjoy the audio bungie as borrowed from star trek and star wars players should really be able to turn the music off.
-
*Duuuuun, Dun, DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN, Dun Dun Dun, Duuuuuuun* Yes please.
-
This is an issue with the PS4, and not the game I think. You have to set up your audio devices correctly. I never hear loud booming music.
-
Bought the game on release, stopped playing shortly after and haven't touched it since. Very disappointed with how shallow this game is, especially when considering who's making it and their legacy. I keep looking to see if Bungie finally snaps into action and rights a wrong, but no and it seems like they're never going to. There is no excuse to skip or overlook such a basic feature in this day and age, it simply shouldn't even be an issue. I know many do indeed like it, however, personally, I wasn't a fan of the music especially when in combat. One score on Mars in particular gave me a headache, a headache that could of been easily averted by either: lowering the music or: Not playing. I had only one option.

Agreed. On a story mission last night my friend couldn't hear me over the thumping boss music. Both using decent headsets. Would love option to lower game volume.
