Women Gamers: female or male Guardian character?

I'm a male. I play both actually, though I have to say that (mainly on wow) I got tired of people stalking me just because I was playing female character and thinking I was female irl. Here on Destiny my main is a male titan (the one I will play the most). Hunter will be female, undecided on warlock yet.
